Eligibility Criteria for Nursing Admission
The eligibility criteria for different under Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma and Ph.D. courses are as follows-
- Bachelor courses of Nursing: To undertake an undergraduate course in nursing like B. Sc nursing you need to complete 12th standard education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The course duration is 4 years after which you can complete an internship in recognized hospitals and Nursing homes.
- Master’s course in nursing: To get a master’s degree in nursing one need to complete the undergraduate courses. The master course in nursing is of 2 years duration.
- Diploma courses of nursing: To get a diploma degree in nursing one need to pass the 12th class. The diploma courses of nursing include GNM nursing & ANM nursing. The duration of the course varies from 1 year to 2 years.
- Ph.D. course in nursing: To get Ph.D. in nursing one needs to get a postgraduate degree in the same stream.
